Why aren't anyone making +60 or stock offset wheels?

Turns out I have no time the next couple of weeks. Anyone near city of industry/walnut have some time to do a test fit?
Are you still planning on getting them fitted once your schedule allows? :)

Maybe next week, my calendar is insane this week. Honestly was kinda hoping someone else from the community would help step up but no one so far seems too keen.

I know bro. If I didn't have a 7 month old, I'd drive down from SF to do it myself. All good though so n worries. Just keep us updated if anything happens.

Cheers,

Thanks @spyder57 and @TypeARR for keeping this thread alive. I actually forgot all about it  Because I gave up. At the time, the high offset and $ didn't add up for me. My thing is, you can get x 9.5 or even some x 10" wide Volk or Advan wheels for the same price as x 9 +53. So for the same price, i'm getting half an inch more metal. i ended up getting some used ZE40s +40. But still waiting for updates....

18x9 +60 would be great. However, BC doesn't do group buys and it sounds like the absolute lowest they'll go is $3250 for the wheels only.
Did you get this quote directly from BC?
I thought they do custom? why not 19x8.5 +60?
Did they ever give weights on their wheels?

You could probably get that offset from them, would just have to verify that the front brakes clear. I didn't but look on the stickied thread another member did.

Im running this setup for my track set and the brakes clear (barely). Wheels are in the 18 lb range

That's nice!!
Does it feel a lot quicker accelerating ?
I wouldnt say theres a huge difference. The motor on these things are so stout that you wouldnt feel that much difference. Atleast nowhere near as much as when I threw on RPF1's on my wifes previous GE Fit.

hmm... that's not good to hear after spending $3000+
my s2000 felt so different after going to the jdm bbs forged wheels.. think it weighed something like 12 to 13 lbs per wheel

Totally agree with you on this one. On my AP1 when i switched from OEM to CE's I felt the difference. Like I said, the low end grunt of the K20C1 really helps mask the difference. At the end of the day you are reducing unsprung mass so it's an upgrade no matter what.
