How did you guys in the Northeast make out yesterday? Curious to hear how the R handled the snow with winter tires on. I don't have my R yet, but my S3 with Blizzaks was an absolute beast. Got me out of so many jams. Hoping to hear the R shrugs off snow with a good set of winters.

I didn't drive yesterday but during the snows we had last year, my car got around great. I'm running the Michelin X-Ice tires. That being said, last year I was still on stock height but now my car is lowered, that might present some new challenges.

lol, I was considering both of the wheel setups above before I went for my NT03RR's. I think they both look fantastic, especially considering the price.

How do they handle? It's hard to tell how much difference is attributable to the wheel rather than the tire, but what do you guys think? How's the 8" wide wheel working out?

I haven't had a chance to drive in snow or ice yet but I'll definitely report back on that when I do. As for dry handling, it's not terrible but it's noticeably worse than the summer wheels/tires (as expected)

8" rim is fine with 245/40 DWS. Not as sharp as the stock tires, but much more livable. I might leave it on long term.
