I'm planning on sticking some padding to the hard plastic console. I want to make sure the pad won't slip with pressure and I live in Florida in a black/black civic so the heat will be extreme. However, if the padding wears down over time, I want to be able to remove it without damaging the plastic.

I'm looking at 3 tapes, which would you guys recommend?

3M Automotive Mounting tape:

3M Outdoor Mounting tape:

Scott Clear Mounting tape:

Or something else?

If you want to be able to remove it down the line I recommend velcro. I've used that clear mounting tape before though and it did come off pretty clean, some residue but it also wasn't inside a car.

Any of them is good. They're all versions of VHB. The most important thing is surface prep + setup. Make sure you put pressure on it for at least an hour for maximum adhesion.
