OOPS … accidentally posted this in Member Classifieds...

I was wondering if anyone had tips on where I can buy parts for the FK8 while I'm in Tokyo/Osaka for 10 days in June.

I've written down all the USD prices from jhpusa and evasive motorsports to compare while I'm there, but not really sure where to go there to get the parts.

Is Autobacs the only retailer there?

Is it cheaper to go to a place like Autobacs or go directly to the Spoon / J's Racing / Rays store? Just wondering since, in the US, walking into the actual company's store means you're going to pay MSRP when online or at different retailers you can get the same item under MSRP.

The Spoon address is just for selling merchandise, Type One has their work area/display cars plus some little souvenir's. Autobac's is pretty expensive but a few bucks cheaper than buying it stateside.

I’d also check out any of the Up Garages. Make sure Spoon is open. I wasted about 2 hours train & walking with bags in hand to Spoon & Type One smh
