Cup holder is the easiest for convenience but if I'm just going to keep sunglasses in the car, I use the glove box or the lower center console tray where the cig light plug and USB ports are. The upper tray is the wireless phone charger so I don't put anything on there except my phone to charge.

Driver's side door pocket. The case is too big to fit there so I keep it in the glove box.
