I changed my oil however long ago, and I reset the Maintenance Minder when I did so.
Now, it seems I neglected to write down when that was and the mileage when I performed the oil change.

Does anyone know if/how it's possible to look up (in the maintenance minder or somewhere) when that was?

Not sure about the Mini Coopers, but 10th Gen Civics have a engine oil life meter. Just change it again when it get to 15%

Thanks for your reply - I realized I had never updated my car. I do have a 16 Civic.

I guess what I'm asking is not when my next oil change is but when I did my last one. I like to write these things down for my record, but I seem to have neglected to do that last time.

If you didn't record it, there is no way of finding out.

I often change oil every 7.5 miles or every 12 months, whichever come first!

Note the odo reading when it hits 15% remaining. At 10% note the odo value again.

Subtract and get the mileage difference going from 15 to 10%.

Let's say the delta is 400 miles. Then, each 1% is equal to 80 miles.

At 10% you've gone 7200 miles since you reset the MM.

Subtract 7200 from your odo reading at 10%. This is the approximate odo reading when you reset the MM.

Approximate the date by your average mileage per month.

Just use the TRIP B every time you change the oil and you'll have no problems. That's how I keep track of my oil changes. I use TRIP A for fuel mileage and TRIP B to see how many miles since last oil change.

MY maintenance minder is at 70% at about 1.8k miles. My dealer suggested I change it at 50% or every 5k miles ish... at this rate I’ll be at
50% around 3-3.5k miles. With that being said should I change it at 5k miles or at 50%? Thanks! <3

I would feel comfortable going further than 5k miles with full synthetic oil. I change it around 15% which is generally around 8k miles.

But if you’re set on 50% vs 5k miles, then choose 5k.
