I have a 2019 Civic SI with about 3,000 miles on it. Just noticed when I started the car up and started to drive away a grinding sound from the right front wheel well at very low speed like 5mph. Sounded a lot like metal on metal but I didn't see anything obvious. I wiggled around what I think is the brake shield behind the rotor and it stopped when I pulled away again. Right before I noticed the sound I heard a bunch of rocks being thrown up by the tires on a paved road...so lots of Little Rock's I think. Could it have been a rock got stuck in something and was just grinding away? Thanks

Yes, yes it could. If it comes back have it checked out though as a good number of 10th gen Civics have had issues with the front half shafts tearing the CV boot and spewing filth about.

That sound is very common and the consensus is rocks or debris behind the brake shield. Happened to me twice. There are tons of pebbles where I work so yeah
