What size tire for a 19inch without rubbing?

Eagle_f90

I am dropping down to 19" rims and was wondering what is a good tire size to go with and not rub?

I am on stock suspension with not one incident of rubbing in over a year and have had a full car with the trunk full of luggage several times.

19x9.5 wheels
275/30/19 Michelin PS4S rubber

does the car grip better with this setup?

Unquestionably. 275 rubber seems absurd (awesome) for a Civic, but the grip is just unbelievable.

@J35W2 do you think 275/30/19 will work with lowering springs?
Not with a +45 offset or less. I think 265 is the widest tire that will work with a +45 offset if you want to lower. If you want to go lower with no worries, stick with an 8-8.5” wide wheel with +45-60 offset & you should have zero problems.
