That's what I'm running right now. Black or red?
Can you please post an interior picture with this knob? Considering getting this as well.

I revised my original post with the interior pictures, sorry about that.

Edit: I'll cross post one here to, it's a shift knob thread after all:

The stock FK8 CTR round shift knob weighs in at exactly 5 ounces or less than 1/3 that of the Skunk2's whopping 15.2 ounces - nearly 1 pound! The weight of the Skunk2 knob simply makes it much easier to shift quickly with the added mass ala momentum when rowing gear to gear.

It will complement well with our exclusive pending test and review of the Hybrid-Racing short shifter kit, 1st one to be released for the FK8 CTR.

I tried to go with the "traditional" Type R shaped knob on my CTR. I have quite a collection of Ti Honda knobs. I just didn't like the way the shape meshed with the rest of the cockpit. I'm tempted to get the Ti, round NSX-R shift knob. I did drive around with the Ti ITR knob on my CTR for a bit and I don't know how much difference it made. Which is strange for me because as soon as I get any Honda I dig through my collection and put on the most suitable Ti knob. It didn't seem to make as much difference for me as it did on my RSX-S. It could be that the stock RSX-S knob was plastic and weighed nothing and anything would have been a vast improvement...
I find the real heavy knobs better suited to rigid linkage and not cable trans cars. The only caveat like I said is my RSX. Weird.

This is a good shift knob. Light, quick, snappy and full of mechanical feel and feedback. It's pretty cheap too and doesn't burn your hand nearly as much during the summer.

The coating on it def makes it more resistant to hot and cold, and for the shifting position in the CTR and S2000 I think it offers a great grip, its light as you mentioned so you feel every notch of the shift gates, if your looking for weight to aid or ease shifting this is not the knob for you. I have used either this knob or my ARC Ti knob and even though the ARC is comfortable and heavier I still prefer the Spoon knob over the other (and its one of the cheapest :) )

How is the shift knob during the summer / when it's hot?
I'll have to let you know :/ If it's anything like the Honda Accessory shift knob, it will be perfect for the summer heat as I had no issues with it. It's part of the reason I decided to go red vs black.

I would think the NSX-R knob would be the best of both worlds. Added weight with the same shape as stock.

Today was a good day. Got my shift knobs! Raceseng came through with the same quality that I’ve seen from every other YouTube or CivicX post. They make quality products. Here are some pics of what came in the mail. YouTube video will be up soon. Pretty aren’t they?

I have one of these that I used on my old civic, I just can't find it since I moved. While looking for it, I have found the weighted Skunk2 one that has been posted but can't bring myself to take the oem one off. I waited so long to finally get that one. I did get a Blox shift knob cover that I keep in the glove box because it can get pretty hot when I am parked outside.
