Using the stock one with an obnoxious red fuzzy cover on it. LOL. I often remove the cover once the cabin gets to a normal temp.

Honda Access S660 Titanium Knob. I went heavier with a Circuit Hero spherical knob, but I didn't like how it shifted. Heavier works well with a shift linkage, but not cables.

Random question.. does anybody else have a lot of play in the ring just under the knob? It feels very plasticky and cheap and has a lot of rotation. The sport hatch I've driven actually feels more solidly put together strangely..

Probably late to answer. Do you mean the ring that snaps onto the shift knob retaining nut (or whatever that nut is called)? If so, yes, I do have some play in that (it rotates freely, somewhat). If you mean the retaining nut itself, it probably needs to be tightened.

I assume that's it, it feels plasticky underneath the knob. Mine rotates freely whereas the base hatch felt like it was locked into place

I'm actually not sure what the shift boot collar is made of, it might actually be plastic.

I just ordered my shift knobs from Raceseng. I'm very excited. It was a very difficult decision though. So difficult in fact, that I ordered the Slammer and the Signature. I'm leaning towards the Signature cause for it me it kind of defines the word "stickshift". On the other hand, some members have written such positive posts about the Slammer that I had to get it just in case. Now I'm just worried about how difficult it will be to install them.
P.S: I ordered the "Boot Adaptor" just in case. I don't want the boot cover to come all the way up to the base of the shift knob. Hope I got the order right. ( Honda M10 x 1.5mm ) Regular bore.
