I’ve started wearing my WINTER glove on my shifter hand when it is hot out so I don’t sear my hand. Yeah that thing gets hot and stays hot for like 25 minutes after I turn the AC on. The glove actually makes it bearable.

I went to my local Honda dealership parts department and bought a fitted Civic sunshade. It cost $37 and I could have probably gotten it cheaper but hey, I didn't have to waste time shopping around either. It's similar to the Covercraft roll-out shade and very thick and insulating. Combined with the dark tint I have, my car's interior stays well-shaded. I'll check what brand it is at lunch.
What is the fitment like with your sunshade? I know you said it’s fitted for the civic but I just got one online fitted for the civic and I’m not so sure about it....

I am using the Mugen black leather. The metal portion still gets hot but you can just use the leather while it cools down.

I got this knob custom made to be the same size as the standard shift knob. Weighs ~240g!

It's a copolymer on top and stainless steel on the bottom.

I went back to the OEM knob. It really is a perfect fit for this transmission, especially with the Acuity upgrades.
I agree stock looks best (no offense to anyone on this forum). If they made the stock one in a heavier weight I’d be all over it.

What exactly does the acuity set up feel like?

Removes a little slop (not much there to start with) & makes everything a little tighter. It is improved over OEM, but honestly the stock set up is really good. I imagine some folks would not think it’s worth the effort, but once it was all done it felt worth it to me. It’s been so long I’d be curious to row a stock shifter again to see if I can notice the difference.
