Yes, and I also used it to lube the track of the moon roof as mine had almost none on it from the factory.

It's for the rubber door/trunk/moonroof seals. It's essentially a silicone-based grease.

I believe that Honda mechanics use it to lube the brake calipers.

You're probably thinking of urea grease. The shin-etsu would melt right out of the calipers.
