mileage, not sure what is on the auto policy but typically 8k/year
$830/yr. I switched insurance companies for this car, so probably will get a better discount in 3-4 years.
Rental included. Didn't want this but did the policy change over the phone so I didn't know about this.

Anakin,

I purchase higher coverages because there are so many shady lawyers in the world, and I have some savings in the bank that I want to have there when I retire in a few years. I purchased less insurance when I was younger. It all depends on your needs and situation.

The purpose of insurance is to protect one's assets. If you are dirt poor and have nothing to your name, you would only need the legal minimum amount of insurance coverage. I personally maintain $250k/500k coverage with $1000 collision deductible ($100 comprehensive) along with an additional $1M umbrella coverage.

Cheap insurance for dirt poor people? lol

It's good to have coverage but rather not overpay. I prefer to have higher health insurance. My health insurance is well protected for my family and will cover much more medical than car insurance. Most people don't know that you can elect to use your health insurance along or over your car insurance. +20 years with no fault accidents so I know I'm a good driver. When the other party is at fault their insurance will cover all the cost.
