Technically, I had to drive my wife's Toyota Fortuner when the Civic was picked up. Seriously though, an Alfa Romeo 156 2.0TS Selespeed.

1990 camry - uhh cuz my old man got lost and went into toyota dealer.
1990 accord sedan - to be away from 'yota
1994 fleetwood - biggest and longest sedan? 225" american dream thing.
1997 camaro - fell in love with donut creation and couldn't afford Integra vtec, so decided to smoke them (with tires).
2002 accord coupe - i needed a sensible zen one after rubbermaid car with super overhang.
2002 accord sedan - cuz i heavily modified the coupe.
2007 Q7 - umm.. i don't know why. but love this car.
2009 mini - more of bucket list and had a big bonus from work.
2010 TL - should have had bought 3rd gen, but awaited for 4th too long, then the beak came out and was in denial but still had to get it.
2010 C300 - nimble and strong engine.
2010 accord sedan - last double wishbone suspension for accord so had to grab one.
2014 accord sedan - except the horn, loved everything about it.
2014 accord coupe - saw still-night-pearl color at distance doing 100mph. and directly went to the dealer and got one with a dozen of touchup paints; with which i painted my room door knob.
2017 civic HB - once again, except horn, love everything about it.

2001 Alfa Romeo 145 1.6TS, 120hp (shared with my mother)
2003 Alfa Romeo 166 2.4JTD, 150hp (got it in 2015)

Planned to get myself a used Alfa Romeo Giulia in 3 years time, but unfortunately the 166 developed too many problems to continue with it and I ended up buying a Civic Hatch. Don't regret it too much.

A “notch” model 2010 TDI, first year of the “clean diesel” engine (lol), last year of the MKV body style. I commute 124 miles round trip daily and was looking for something that would be fun to drive, interesting and provide excellent fuel mileage. After better than 25 years in a great relationship with Toyota, Toyota Motor Credit and a fantastic local Toyota dealership, I had become bored with the reliable but uninspiring Camrys and made the move over to the dark side. I’m not a car mechanic, the best I ever did was change oil and suffer tire rotations with the trunk jack. However, when I moved into the diesel Volkswagen TDI Jetta I knew I was going to have to take up a new hobby and that was scheduled maintenance and other issues that would occur. So after the “first three are free” program it was without surprise that I was handed an estimate for the 40 thousand mile service at 1,200 dollars but I laughed because I had my VAG COM cable, tools and the consumables already on order for that service. Over 210,000 miles I performed every scheduled maintenance after that, diagnosed a warranty service problem, changed a front wheel bearing and Performed a timing belt and water pump change. Saving at least $6000 in regularly scheduled maintenance. That car taught me a lot and eventually I had to sell it back to Volkswagen with a bad fuel relay with the fuel pump wired to my fog light switch, which was laughable between me and the agent that handles our buyback purchase. That being said, I wandered into the Honda dealership not really knowing what I was looking for but this little blue Honda touring coupe in the show room was calling my name. Being a dumb head I let them talk me into a service plan and an extended warranty. Mainly because they said at my age I wouldn’t want to crawl under the car anymore. Before I got to the first oil change I got the bug, installed an aftermarket intercooler, cat back exhaust, cold air intake, oil cooler, replaced the incandescent fog lights with LED and since I had the front bonnet off, two sets of Hella horns on a separately purchased 75 amp relay. Just recently, thanks to Hondata, I was able to bring my bolt ons to the ECU and maybe this weekend I’ll be adding the E 85 conversion which is sitting on my desk to the equation. When I bought the Honda civic touring coupe I didn’t realize that I was going to have a car that I would come to winter in a garage, so since my wife retired we turned in her leased Corolla and I got a Honda Accord lease car for driving to work as the daily driver, let it eat the salty winters. Which on its own with the 1.5 L engine and being a base model is an awesome car, unfortunately I can’t tune it up because it doesn’t belong to me lol.
