AWE Touring exhaust installed and canyon tested. Video with sound uploaded below. No drone. Sounds better than stock :). Boominess in the video was a result of cheap dashcam mic. It's not present in real life. Gained a little power too. CTR perfected!:thumbsup:

Installed some Akebono brake pads, hoping that these are low dust as many have said! With the factory pads I had to dust off the wheels after every drive.....that got old quickly! I just tried some Centric Posi Quiet pads for about 2 weeks and they were way better in the dust department. Very little dust and still stopped well for a daily street setup. Make sure that you lightly scuff the rotors down with a scotch pad to get the surface ready for the new pads.

UGH I am so jealous of these roads. Fuck Florida. My area especially only has long straights of 40mph roads, there's maybe like one or two turns near me that I can actually take fast.

Fuck Florida.
My brother lives in Tampa, kind of in your neck of the woods. He complains of busy roads and no where to open it up on his CTR. I live in Jacksonville FL and do a lot of highway driving with curvy on ramps and plenty of WOT room. I think the Tampa Bay area doesn't have the same opportunities as a driver, in general. But indeed, no roads like that in FL!

Be happy you're in Florida. Or you can be like me and pay $4,500 a year in state, city and local taxes (on top of federal, sales and property tax) to live in this godforsaken shithole.

Yeah I used to complain about Jacksonville roads all the time until I took some trips up north. Last time I was in Chicago, I hit some potholes that made me cringe even in a rental. For the most part, Jacksonville roads are pretty nice/smooth and traffic isn't bad at all during the times I commute.

On the other hand, Orlando roads are complete ass. I'm terrified of taking the type R on trips down there with all the unpredictable tourist drivers and construction on I4.

I've gotten three flats in a year, every single time was in Orlando. One of my rims is ruined because of a pothole. I guess I can't complain about the roads themselves in my area though, they're pretty smooth. I live just outside Orlando. Just not really exciting.

Fuck Florida? Other than Highway Patrol the cops could care less about traffic BS and we have a lot of racetracks. No emissions, no state tax, cheap registration...have you lived anywhere else? Not many more car enthusiast friendly states than Florida.
