Heh, the ā€œOracleā€ is most definitely my buddy Boosted180sx, not me, heh. Heā€™s helped me tremendously. I just share what Iā€™ve learned from others or through my own experiences and gaffes, lol.

Radium offers a dual oil catch can set up, which I picked up. So far Iā€™ve only collected oil in the PCV can and itā€™s been quite a bit, so I think this mod is very worthwhile.

Have not caught anything in the CCV side. The CCV takes its input from the intake piping just downstream from the inlet air filter so have no idea what it really could catch. With that in mind, canā€™t really recommend it, unless wanting to complete the set. I donā€™t believe there would be a benefit of teeing them together

Hereā€™s a pic to clarify ;)

I just use the yellow microfiber towels available in bulk at Costco, so throw away. Trying to be careful not to scratch it so havenā€™t tried anything aggressive like a brush or steel wool..Especially on the burnt blue outer tip finish.

Might try something like that if the metal polish and microfiber towels arenā€™t enough to remove the oxidation spots inside the piping.

Brake cleaner seems to be a good option, haven't thought of that, I've been using wheel brush and wheel soap so far, I think steel wool with metal polish is also an option.
It's gonna be harsh to the microfiber cloths, are they just about to be tossed away?

Thanks !
Experience is best when you learn something without needing a Prescription (aka Rx, not aka as a former R owner).

Hex,
Did you actually BUY a Type R or are you BUILDING one from scratch?

I admire your delivery creativity.

i think my wife still believes the small coffin size box in spare room are mats and cargo tray rather than an AWE Touring 3ā€ SS exhaust system.
The card bill will tattle just AFTER it is installed, she knew it was inevitable just not so soon.

If I were smarter (and richer) Iā€™d get a girlfriend car savvy just to have Type R parts delivered there.

Pink Cadillac tuning optional as long as she let me lube on her rack.

Purchased my 2019 Sonic Grey Type R(#34184) two weeks ago and already got:

Xpel paint protection(full front of the car), 3d Maxpider Kagu floor mats, AegeanBlueSi/Unity Performance clear LED side markers, red rally armor mud flaps

Paint protection is done and the floor mats are in the car. Still waiting on shipping for the side markers and mud flaps. Already got a little paint chip in my driver side passenger door(really small but still sucks), so that helped me decide on the buying the mud flaps today. Already ordered a touch up paint lol. Seeing the red mud flaps on a type r same color helped also. Thought they looked pretty good. This forum pretty much helped me decide on everything I have purchased so far.

Yeah it was installed with 3M VHB tape.

I actually was a few mm off on one side but my OCD got to me so I took it off, bought some more VHB and redid it perfect now lol
Lol mine was also a few mm off on one side also. Which size 3m tape did you get? I may end up re-doing it in the future. Looks great btw

That's good ones, I used that trick on my girlfriend too, some time she asked when did you buy this, I replied it only comes in a package that you can get and they don't sell them separately
It's the "premium factory package" all has part #'s, right?

Trying to hold off from voiding the warranty. Oh the GF drives a 2019 Charger Scat pack

That kit really takes up less space than imagined. About 2" to 3" higher? Makes loading cargo easier too it seems.

I just stayed with the OEM cargo tray and keep my spare tire with me. Makes for a just right fit between the bolster holsters.
