What did you do to your Type R today?

Installed the interior lighting pieces.

What and how did you mount those interior foot well lights? My gf's Golf R has soft white lights in the door handle, door storage area, footwell and has blue accent lighting on the door trim. It would've been pretty cool if Honda did this for the type R

Do the OEM center console red light change intensity when you're in different modes and/or change depending on throttle position?

Steering wheel covers like that one have to be hand sewn on. In trimming a Ridgeline out to Type R look I found this one. Knit one pearl two, whatever that means. Save the burp one drink two for afterwards so it doesn’t go all Charlotte’s Web on you (inspirational swine messages appear) ... some pig....’s are tasty!

Speaking of that, we have a couple of ladies down the street who are a couple, I’m cool with it. Th’other day a roll of carpet was at the curb. Walking dogs I asked if it got chewed up (no pets), blank stare. The butchier (is that a thing?) one has a big ring in her nose. I told them that when I was farming pigs we put rings in their nostrils to keep them from rooting, why do you have one?

Powder coated the HKS Oil Cooler Ducting to a flat black so it won’t stand out when it’s installed. For those in SoCal looking for a great powder coating company, try Advance Finishing in Los Angeles. Ramon: (323) 754-2889
Turnaround time was about (4) hours. Cost was $80.

Before: Original Stainless Steel Finish

After: Powdercoated to a nice flat black. Might go the extra step and paint the bolt heads black also.

I would love to see this installed.

Have been working on the car a bit lately and the holidays are upon us, so will have to be a little strategic, heh. With the fake vent cut and installed in front of it, may not be noticeable

Where'd you get them? The OEM red interior lights (as opposed to blue) have been a forbidden fruit for about as long as the 10th gen has existed.

The foot well lights are little modules that are screwed onto the backside of the bottom dash covers. You have to drill a hole for the light.

The center console only changes brightness with the dash/gauge cluster brightness controls.

I was originally going to run Titan forged wheels but man the price was up there. Went with this wheel/tire combo which cost less than the Titans alone.

why are you guys hating on the Kirkland brand oil? do any of you actually have knowledge on this? it is most likely just repackaged Mobil1.

Installed a Holley shift light and set to 6300 RPM to light red. Literally plug and play with an extra Ob2 harness I bought. I felt that I regularly hit redline causing a surge. This should help with the bright light prompting me to shift.
