Thanks !! I wanted a set of the Old Skool Fab CF guards. I just didn't have $250 at this moment . LOL!!! The ZL1's look good & should do the job just fine. I'm happy with them.

I come from the KDM market, having a full bolt on Genesis Coupe. Over the weekend, I stopped by my old tuner Jay at SeoulfulRacing (SFR) to drop off some spare parts I had laying around the basement. In exchange he did a couple if pulls on the dyno for me. I’m 100% bone stock from the factory and was pretty pleased with the results. Using the mustang dyno, the first run we kept the hood shut and made 260 whp. Really wish I had a photo of the chart but unfortunately I do not. We let the engine cool for about 20 minutes while we talked more about the car, and the potential that it has. This is the first time that Jay has seen a CTR in person so we talked a lot about it. I mentioned the heat soaking issues that we have, so for the second run we popped the hood open, and wouldn’t you know we get 280 whp.

So my conclusion from the day was that I’m assuming an intercooler is one of the best modifications we can do to our cars, and even with the heat soak, the car is pretty well tuned from factory.

When you look at the dyno sheet from the second run that I’ve attached, you can see that there’s a drop off at the end. That’s just because of the dyno not registering the rev limiter and thinking we didn’t stop the pull. Also, if you’ve never used a mustang dyno basic rule of thumb is that you have to add about 13% to the numbers that you get for an accurate reading.

If you guys are in the Philly, Delaware, Jersey, Maryland, NY, area and need something definitely hit up Jay. The guy is an absolute wizard and loves and respects all cars and I highly recommend.

Yes. I had my 1998 Mustang bodied Vanishing Point race Cars chassis registered for IHRA Top Sportsman. I wasn't fast enough to make the National event races. they were pretty much 6 second fields. I ran it on the divisional level. This what I sold to buy my CTR.

That's awesome. I used to race NMRA Super Street Outlaw and I won the AMRA stock world championship in 1994. I still have a few Mustangs and my Camaro left though! I pass by Vanishing Point almost weekly on the way to Ocean City.

WOW I want this lift setup.... If I did not live in a townhouse and I had a garage.... I would absolutely get this... Looks like when I move I need to find a home with a Garage. The issue here is in Miami... Most homes convert their garages to extra rooms.... :( I could always convert it back but then you lose the "resale" value etc... Oh real estate...

Wow !! Very nice collection of race cars!!! I didn't know VPRC had reopened in Maryland. My car was built when Jim Geese was in Telford, PA. then they closed shop. Next thing I heard on Jim was he had a chassis shop near Winder, Ga. It wasn't called VPRC, it was R2B2 Race Cars. Jim does great work. Sadly, my drag racing days are over but a new door has opened. It's called the Type R!!!

Great shop no doubt! I am done with drag racing "race cars" myself! Hurry up and wait to make 3 passes in a day has worn out it's welcome with me! I love the Type R, much like you. I'm going to sell off the Camaro, which I built from a shell in 1994 and the Blue 04' Cobra....I never have time for either one and I'd rather have the money!!

Are they just stick on? Mind if I ask how much they charged for shipping from the UK?
