What a big difference a spark plug makes!

I was having a lot of knock counts. No misfire codes but I was wondering why my boost wasn’t hitting its full potential. I was maxed out at 23 psi on TSP STAGE 2. After swapping my spark plugs out and opening the gap, I now peak at 25 psi. I was gapped at .016 because on my last “custom” tune I thought I was getting spark blowout but it was just my fuel trims were complete trash after updating the software on Hondata and reuploading my tune. So I think it corrupted my tune. Anyways I switched to Ktuner and run tsp stage 2 and regapped my new plugs to .025 and my car feels like it’s running exactly how it should. Thank you @drobimw for all the advice you have given me.

Interesting. Almost at factory recommended gap (0.0276"). Are you moderately or extremely modified? What's your current max HP (approximate)?

I'm not really kidding, I've swapped them into three GTDI engines from three different manufacturers now and everybody's noticed some kind of improvement.

What Intake are you using? I’m only using Injen CAI with a street maf. I’m sure if I had PRL cobra with race maf I can hit 27
