What’s the best Head Unit for Base Model?

I was thinking of upgrading my head unit on my 2017 lx sedan, and was wondering what are the best options out there. Also I was wondering if I could upgrade to the latest 19’ infotainment system with the volume knob.

Is a new fancy radio most important or sound ?

Cause you can put little money into making the sound better. It's the route I went. Replaced speakers, added amp, LOC and sub and the sound is miles better while still using the stock HU.
