Were You Able to Buy the Color You Initially Wanted?

Being that SIs are not exactly a dime-a-dozen, I'm curious to know how often people wished the dealer had had another color option from the one they purchased at the time. Personally, I was between the grey and the blue, and waited a long time before finding a dealer with a sedan in one of those two colors. However, I suspect more financially responsible people would be willing to forgo their preferred color for a better deal.

Ended up getting a 2019 sedan in Red, but if there would’ve been a blue sedan on the lot I definitely would’ve gone that route.

my previous car was a 2015 Focus ST in Performance Blue and I loved the color. The red has grown on me, but I still think I would’ve preferred the blue.

i really wanted a white sedan. but every time one came up for sale at a near by dealer it was either a bad time for me financially or it was sold before i could get to it. i just purchased a 2018 Agean blue si with 9k miles last week. knew the previous owner and how well he cared for it so that was a major plus. initially really wanted white or red but since getting the blue im very happy with it.

I really, REALLY wanted the Modern Steel Metallic Coupe ... and couldn't find one in my dealership's network.
The found an Orchid White Coupe for me ... and I almost agreed.
Then, while searching on the internet, found a MSM Coupe in Orlando (about 4 hours away).
Drove down 2 days later, and have been happy ever since!

Late June 2017 I walked in, and there she was #325 off the production line for the 2017 model year that just got placed in that spot earlier that day. Test drove a Black Sedan, and then told them to move the Blue off the showroom floor right away after my inspection because it would be mine!

Wanted a black coupe and went to see it and it was sold the second I got there and it was a good thing because it was a 2019 and I ended up getting the 2020 in white and took the deal because they were so scarce at the time. It wasn't even on the dealers lot when I bought it.

Wanted a blue sedan but there was only one within a 50 mile radius and I live in the SF Bay Area. Got my second favorite in white with only 3 miles on it off the truck at a nice price.

When i was looking there was a 3k mark up on White in my area so ultimately went with blaaaaaaaaaaaaaack lol

I really wanted silver, but walked out with black. The dealership I worked at didn't have any silvers coming in for a while and I was like screw, I want the car more than I want the color I wanted. To this day, I do not regret my decision to own another black car!

I wanted white and ended up getting a better white than I expected it to be. I didn’t realize they changed the whites from 18’ to 19’.

I wanted the Aegean Blue Metallic from the git go. I bought the first 2017 Aegean Blue Metallic SI coupe that made it to the state of Iowa. And no, I did not pay MSRP.
