Weather strip molding for right quarter window.

Hi, first time posting here. I wanted to know the ease of installing the vertical weather strip that goes on the right rear quarter window. I did not know it it was missing until I noticed that it was the different coloration on the driver's side. Is it something that I need to take to someone to have it placed? Pictures what I am referring to:

I just received the seal today. I know I have to clean the area of dirt and other debris, is it really just sliding in the strip and removing the adhesive strip. I feel that there slightly more to it.
