Yes, plug and play. I had a write up on this forum you can check out. I’ll try to find and tag you
True story, it was SpooRk's original write up that helped me install my set.

Mine were plug n play on my R. Part number 33850-TEM-M01.

For those of you who installed their markers, which bulb did you end up using, the USDM or JDM?

I got some off of eBay that have the silver coating on the glass so there isn't a little orange dot in my lamp, but they still illuminate amber. The bulb should be the same between US or Japanese market parts - it's just that little wedge 194 bulb or whatever.

Also, the premise of this thread has been disproven pretty soundly - what's the policy on changing that? It would be a bummer if people decided against making this change to their car because they either didn't click on the the thread or didn't get past the first page or two....

I’m using Sylvania LED. You don’t see the China led chips with the lights off.

As I read through this 10 page thread I feel like there is no consistant common route to swapping these sidemarkers.

I am interested in the smoked ones for my championship white CTR however after reading so much back and forth regarding which ones to buy, problems with condensation, modifying sockets, splicing wires, using factory bulb or gettinf aftermarket bulb, I have to say that I am very confused and do not know where to start.

I would get them and install them if I can eliminate the guessing work.

Can someone be so kind and please reply to this post with the link of which one I should by, whether I need to purchase any additional pieces or bulbs, precise instructions on how to get this right the first time and not run risk of condensation or light not sitting flush with opening?
