I figure we'll get there late Thursday afternoon/early evening. We'll be doing some of the bigger events and making the meals but will be peeling off to do kids stuff during the weekend too. Putt-Putt... walk some trails, pool if the weather is good and they're open by then. There's some horse riding stuff that's off the resort but looks nearby I was going to see about going to for a bit.

You remember the number of folks that went last year? I didn't follow that thread all that close but I thought it was just a few dozen.

The final count was between 70 and 80. We are approaching double that number, which is a bit more growth than we would have expected. Thankfully the Fontana Village facility can accommodate groups up to 500 or so in a single event hall.

Yep. Well... good for them. I'm sure they'll be happy for all the business. As to all the Civics, we can class the joint up. :D I'm sure a lot of locals will be going, "Where the hell did all these Civics come from...?"

I'm local and not coming up till Saturday morning with a group of locals but can meet up with the group Friday on the way to devil's triangle. Just need to see who will be going Friday and give them my number and meet up near it.

I'm looking forward to the drive. The wife and I agreed, since we hate driving 16 or 26... even for a little while, that we'll cut across and add a little time though the mileage is less. We're looking forward to driving through some banjo country...
