I have not tracked the car yet. Maybe OP has.
Sorry, no track time yet for me either, but these are cast wheels = not as light, but very strong. There should be zero issues on the track. I have no plans to track my CTR with these wheels. This is my DD, so no track time until I get another DD and even then I will have a dedicated set of track wheels & tires. Track time is tough on a car.

Thanks, I believe the OEM wheels aren't forged either (?). I wonder how much distortion they got from doing the Nurburgring run if they were not. I know track days are tough on the car, I was just hoping I could run them without distortion if necessary.

Loving it. Stock height? Rubbing? Is there any handling difference vs. stock wheel/tire?
Just saw these.. thought some of my experiences might help.
VMR used my car for their CTR-spec. I've had them on since October 2017.. V701 18x9.5 +45 on Michelin PSS 275/35/18
The only handling difference I've noticed is more grip.. Otherwise, the ride is definitely more comfortable than the 20s

I dropped on Eibach last March & I was really worried it would rub, especially on 275s.
Short answer - - NO Rubbing, at least not on DD.

BTW, any chance you tracked the car? I'm interested to see how the wheels hold up and if under pressure there is any rubbing at full lock.
On stock height, I tracked the car with the VMR setup 3x - I loved every minute of it! The wheels are phenomenal!
I tracked once after I dropped on Eibach but with my other wheel setup - I have track day scheduled in a couple weeks & will bravely prove or disprove myths of rubbing with 275s with an Eibach drop. Stay tuned.

I have some pics of the car & the setup, click my signature or just visit my garage.

Where can I order this?
If you want new, go to:

www.velocitymotoring.com

Or I will sell you my set. Love the wheels, just going to get another set from VMR. I was going to keep both sets & sell my stock wheels/tires, but I’ll let these go instead, if you want them. PM me if interested.

Replaced the transmission fluid with Amsoil Synchromesh earlier today & got to put about 50 miles on it. Not only have the gate changes gotten noticeably smoother, but the transmission itself actually seems to be operating smoother. The little jerks from engine braking are gone. I’m pleasantly surprised.

Im trying to replace mine with Amsoil also. Is there a bolt other than the drain bolt to make the transmission fluids drip out, or did you just drain it & fill it with 2.3 quarts of tranny fluid??

I actually had it done at the dealer. Getting under this car without a lift or pit pretty much sucks. Fill bolt is basically under the air intake, if I remember correctly.

Just made a 4hr treck down to southern VA to meet up with @J35W2. He was nice enough to meet up part way so I didn’t have to endure a 6hour drive. Thanks for that! Now waiting on my 265/35 conti dws to arrive and will get them mounted and installed. Too excited.

Hope you love them, Andrew and it was nice to meet you. Sorry the weather was crap or we could have chatted longer. Looking forward to seeing pictures on your R. Safe travels home!

Finally got these bad boys on, thanks again @J35W2 for the wheels!

Wrapped in continental extreme contact dws 265/35/19. I must say the softer compound along side the slight thicker series tire is such a difference maker in this cold weather. The feeling going over uneven pavement and potholes is so much more forgiving. The I can tell traction is much better as well with the wider tires. So far I’m in love with the set up. Now contemplating if I want to get a summer set of tires or just stick with these year round.
