I was driving down the highway and a rock flew out of the sky. There were no trucks, overpasses, cliffs or anything near me. It might of well as been a meteor. It put a few millimeter size chips directly in front of where the driver sits. I took it to a glass shop and they told me it was too small to do anything. They are a fraction of a millimeter deep and very annoying. Can you buff out chips out of glass. Is there anything I can do without getting a new windshield?

Rain-X windshield repair kit. I apologize if it didn't work for you. Good luck

Are you serious? Like the three words you posted are the entirety of what can be said about this. I got a windshield repair kit. Its too small for it to actually do anything. First I attached the whole suction cup apparatus. That was overkill. Then, I applied it with the plastic over it and scraped it off after it dried. It hardly made a difference if it made any at all.

Clear nail polish will keep it from spreading into a crack. I always keep some in my car.
