Hello thanks for clicking on this thread, my name is Wiley and my Civic got vandalized overnight.

I have an SI not a CTR but please chime in
- Driver front / Passenger front top side frame dings
- Passenger Window scratched with rock (tints on as well)
- Driver front door to back rear quarter panel keyed (2 line)
- Spoiler Keyed (1 line)
- Top trunk deck keyed (1 line)

Pictures are attached;

MY MAIN QUESTIONS
- These dents are repairable yes?
- File with insurance or not?
-I have a trusted body shop so is it most cost efficient to skip filing a claim

My insurance is 140$ a month and my deductible is $250 from state farm. First year auto insurance holder @ 21 years old, thanks yalls for them inputs and suggestions.

Why buy insurance if you're not going to use it? And your deductible is too low if you don't plan to use it for every little thing.

Is anyone here an insurance adjuster? These are matters to bring to the attention of your insurer.
You already knew the answer.
There is my opinion.

i'm a insurance agent in NJ, you should be able to file a claim under your comprehensive and it shouldn't affect the rates on your policy if you haven't filed one before.

I have absolutely no idea why people do the shit they do. I mean after doing this what are the culprits thinking about while lying in bed at night? "I'm sure glad I fucked that guy's car up. I don't know him but he sure had it coming."

You pissed somebody off, somewhere, sometime ... doesn't look incidental nor juvenile unless a rash of cars were vandalized. Looks like something a girl would do. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT INSURANCE IS FOR!, PROTECTION FROM STUPID PEOPLE DOING THINGS STUPIDLY. You should file a vandalism report with the police, just to have a record of it. Sorry this happened to you but.... if it happens again to you... just sayin...

Should not cost you too much and the repairs will make your car look new, again. Let us know how it came out.

Oh, by the way... it could have been MUCH WORSE... you don't wanna know

Hey those dents/scratches look like someone was trying to break into the vehicle.

Random question, is there a way to take those scratches out of the window. I'm asking because I have a few of those in mine.

I work in a paint shop repair at a major auto manufacturer, and not Honda, their competition. You may want to call your insurance, those dents on the roof rail are pretty big and you have some paint work to be done, as whoever did this went through your clear coat to the base paint. Those dents will have to be stud pulled out, and this is something you wont be able to do at home. Even using dent/bump rods to try and push them out will be useless, as the roof rail is very sturdy steel, if this was your fenders or quarter panels, than it would be easy to get those bumps taken out.

I felt this. Last week someone keyed the side on my 2018 SI. I'm a little unsure what to do as well. Don't want my insurance to go up that's for sure
