Sagas go up to +50 offset, 18x9 for the CTR. I think +50 is pretty safe to not rub. I have dash whites on order and am waiting for them to come in.
BUT …. I want aggressive looking with the most concave spokes... That's the dilemma of picking a TE. I don't like the +40 - +50 flat spokes. I don't think I even like the +38 TE37SL with mild concave spokes... I want as concave as it gets but I'd rather not roll my fenders since I want to keep this car forever.

Can you please share pics of your CW type R with the RPF1s on them?
Here you go and the best color match I have found is...

INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER TRACTOR AND FARM IMPLEMENT, factory paint. :) It looks vibrant in the bright sun but darkens appropriately in the lower light/shade.
Definitely can feel the offset and REALLY FEEL THE 11+ POUND PER WHEEL WEIGHT REDUCTION, over half a pound just in lug nuts.

What’s the offset on the RPF1?

I just grabbed a set of Raijin 18x8 42 and waiting for them to come in. At 20 pounds a wheel it should help out quite a bit.

Yes, it will!
The RPF1 are the 18x8.5, 40 offset models

Looks great, trying to find a set with the SBC, I don't think they exist though. :(

Yeah, that is why I just painted them. The stock silver finish looked pretty lame on the car.

Nice! I’m kind of worried when you say you can feel the offset. I’ll wait for my set to come in to see how it is.
ONLY while turning under heavy throttle in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Definitely not bad at all, unlike my EG hatch with ITR motor. That SOB will YANK the wheel out of hands, especially with no power steering.

Wheels (Raijin 18x8 +42) came today (pics in the What did you do... thread)! Like you said, the torque steer is minor, but there; so you can feel the offset. The weight was felt instantly the acceleration and brake response is tremendous! A lot less rolling resistance too now (though that may be the tires as well). Paired them with the Michelin PS A/S 3+ (245/40) and I get quite a bit more grip than what my NeoGens gave :D I do lose quite a bit of that sharpness and directness that stock setup gives but do gain quite a bit of comfort. All around happy camper with this setup.

Yes, you can paint over the SBC finish.
Maybe I said that wrong, I meant can you paint the wheel the same color as SBC? or is that a specific finish that paint can't replicate?

That finish is "Black Chrome" in other brands and yes, you can find that paint.
