Type R tranny issue solution? (theory)

Not sure if this is the case for the R but was just discovered by Eman on the Si and is a simple fix. Turns out gears weren’t getting enough fluid therefore resulting in tranny issues.

Thought the CTR tranny issue was more to do with the synchros and 2nd gear being the worst..

Not sure if it applies to the CTR. I’m only supplying the part number in case anyone wishes to dig deeper. Most of the time, changing out the factory fluid fixes of lot of the symptoms.

Well if the R’s gutter are like this then cutting larger holes would only benefit and save the gears and tranny

I'm not sure that it is confirmed at all, the OP was just saying that it may be worth looking into based on the issue found in the Si transmissions.
