This is definitely thicker than the original Touring steering and the leather feels better.
How much did it cost out the door? USD?

Looks awesome by the way!

Now you need Red trimmed TypeR dash accents, gloss black hatch grill, Red H emblems front and rear, Si oem spoiler and TypeR wheel caps. ;)

Actually it's not real leather. It's leatherette; explains why it's cheaper than the touring wheel as it uses real leather.

That said mind selling me your touring wheel?

Leatherette is kinda like Corvette. It adds 6psi. ;)

Does it say that it's not real leather anywhere?

Install was $130 and took an hour.

I got the black hatch grill + Red Emblems already. The Si OEM spoilers are so tacky not my taste lol. My next one is the Type R seats.

I find it hard to believe that the OEM steering wheel for the Type R is leatherette. I got it so cheap because I got lucky lol. Plus, it FEELS and smells like actual leather.

--------

Funny story, I got home just now and the battery on my Touring mysteriously died on me. LOL.

I wonder if they didn't tighten your battery too well after steering wheel install

I just put a tacky Si oem spoiler on my EXT.. I think it really looks good. ;) It widens the rear giving a less rounded look. Also front side angle view really lengthens the body line. My oem TypeR emblems are on the way and Si glossy black grill is waiting also for those to arrive before install.

How do you tighten the battery anyhow? You only need a monkey wrench right? Which cable?
