was the bumper flimsy when you got it ? When you painted the bumber did the flimsy go away ?
Even the oem bumper feels a little flimsy once you remove it from the car.

So I just got mine painted and installed. It was kinda flimsy at first, but once I put everything together it was pretty solid. The splitter and the grill/fog light pieces makes it much more sturdy.

How much did it cost you to color match the bumper, if you don't mind me asking.
Also, great window decal

Thanks! Rallye Red is kinda one of those sucky colors, so it was about 500ish. I found cheaper rates, but the place I went to was very reputable. I've seen rates from $300-500.

I've been eyeing this for awhile now but the one thing that stops me from getting it is the plastic "type R" lip. if it was carbon.. sign me up!
I'm on the same boat! But after some thinking I realize that it would probably double the price. My current Type R lip is actually a weaved/stamped plastic. With that in mind im probably wrapping the black lip in carbon once I get it.

Same Fernando valley, do you recall what you paid for paint?
It was $250 for both colors, it would definitely be cheaper if you leave the lip black or carbon (depending which you got)

I don't think it's worth the extra cost. I was able to get it done cheaper from a local shop. where do you live by?
