Turn Signal question

Is it possible to change 3 flashes to 5 flash pushing the turn signal half way down? I know hyndai allows you to change it in the radio or dash board

This is the only mention of it in the owners manual. (Page 181)
Seems like it cannot be changed.

I completely agree. I don't use the feature at all. Partly because I never think to and partly because 3 blinks didn't seem like enough when I tried it.

No, it doesn’t add 3, it resets the count and blinks 3 times from when you activate the signal again. So, if after 2 blinks you push the stalk, it will blink 3 times from then for a total of 5 blinks. If you do it after 1 blink, it will be a total of 4.

New owner here. While my 2007 Civic didn't have this feature, I will say that this is one of the first things I noticed with the R. Definitely a first world problem but I'm curious if I just take too long to do a lane change or the blinker is too short but it seems to be the latter.

OMFG, he said bump the stalk ONE TIME FOR 3 BLINKS THEN AGAIN FOR 3 MORE BLINKS. if you want any combination like 5 you bump the stalk once then again after the signal blinks 2 times. NOT that hard to understand bruh.
