So what's this knock issue happening, why?

I can confidently say that this tune is WELL within the limits of a stock setup running 91 or 93 octane fuel. Any jumps in knock control are likely due to poor fuel quality or questionable driving habits.

Something that i noticed is that the knock ctrl sits at .88 and with the ktuner basemaps i used to sit at .54

Mine has consistently sat at .49. 93 oct, no other mods, map slot 3. Even on Ktuner starter maps, I was at .49. It may just be your fuel. Drop a gallon of E85 in if you can.

Well, fill it up and see what happens. If it’s still not quite there, add a single gallon of E85 (to a mostly full tank) and see where it goes. I lived in IL (STL Metro East) for 5-6 years and the gas is meh all around the state.

my knock just randomly dropped down to .83 and the car is shaking weird. im going to fill up at shell tomorrow and see what happens.

i just flashed to the 19/23 psi map and my car went back to normal and its no longer shaking

It went to limp mode or there was a code that caused the problem.

i just went to the gas station to fill up and retune and everything seems fine now.
