Lol...Click Bait!

I have this GT while at a conference in Colorado...overall...it's a crappy piece of construction. I would never get one.

Feels like I'm driving a boat. Interior is the cheapest as it's always been.
Power wise it's great off the line but from cruising speeds it definitely does not feel faster than a FK8.

Sorry for the click bait but had to share how I feel about the GT compared to the FK8. I don't know how anyone would want a GT, but to each their own of course.

clearly not click bait because it doesn't generate revenue for you.

i don't think the car is bad but it definitely does feel like your driving a boat. At least the exhaust sounds a lot better than a CTR ever will ...

The coyote motors love rpm because of the smaller displacement so unless your using the manual mode on the auto to beat on it at high rpms it will be a dog. I'm prolly going to get rid of my type r soon and pickup another 3rd gen coyote or a 2020 camaro. I was hoping the stock motor on the r would handle more power and don't really feel like waiting for more fueling either. I also love drag racing and dig racing way to much and didn't think it would bother me that much but I miss it.

yeah i want 450-500whp ideally but it just cost too much in order to hit that reliably. I'm probably going to buy the new supra.

That's a basic GT. You need to get them with the PP1 or PP2 package as in base trim they are straight line street cruisers.

I don't mind the new supra but its another new platform with fueling issues and tuning issues. But for 60k there are so many better options and faster ones for what I want to do.

The platform may be new but the power train isn’t. People already have the B58 motor at 1000hp and fueling isn't an issue. Supra’s are running high 10s with a downpipe and a tune.

I've been wondering where you have been Mike! I work on Mustangs everyday at work but I just can't like the 15' up cars. They are just ugly to me. But I'll absolutely be keeping my 13' Boss 302 Laguna Seca :headbang:Regardless it's nice to drive the V-8 car sometimes, especially since mine revs to 8,200 rpm's...
