Hey guys, I'm trying to lease a Touring and was offered $300 a month/39 months, 15K miles a year, $1000 driveoff. Is this a good deal? Was anyone else able to get anything better?
This sounds like a good deal to me. By my calculations, assuming a 9% sales tax and no TTL, and a money factor of .000375 (0.9% APR equivalent), that is a sale price of $24,550.
So $2785 (about 10%) off the sticker price.
That wouldn't be a very good deal on an Accord, but I think the Civic's popularity means the holdbacks aren't as good on them so that might be about as good as you can get on a Civic. Still, if a nearby dealership has the same car, I'd go try to get them to beat it.
Awesome. Thanks for the the insight guys. I ended up getting a dealer to bring it down to $289/month, 1K down, 15K miles a year, Pro pack included and 2 oil changes. Feeling pretty good about it.
It was $279 for 36mo/15K miles a year. They offered me Honda Care for 5 years/60K miles for $800 (which was amount I was owed back from cancelling my other HondaCare). I normally wouldn't go for extended warranties, but with all the bells and whistles on this car, I'd rather be safe than sorry. If I choose not to buy it after the lease end, I'd get the prorated amount back, and the dealer said at that point if I wanted to extend it to 7 years/100K, he'd give me a cheap deal on it.
I did end up using HondaCare to jump start my 2013 Si a few times, so it's a peace of mine for me I didn't mind paying for.
At the end of the day, I'm paying $313/mo. More than I'd like to for a lease, but it's still about $15 less than my 2013 Si and there's a LOT more car with the Touring.
