So I really despised the amber side markers on the hatch and had to do something about it. I feel that amber anything is kind of outdated on any new car. Just wanted to share some pics and a few things about the install. First off the install was pretty easy but did require some modification to the new housing. I have heard of people shaving down the stock tabs for the light bulb, but I prefer to leave the oem stuff in tact. Basically the stock bulb holder has 4 tabs and the iJDM housing only has 2 slots. So I broke out my trusty Dremel tool and made 2 more slots on each housing so that the stock holder could twist on. Easy peasy! Note: I did go with LED bulbs for the side and I have to say it looks very clean. Fitment of the lens was excellent as well. Overall I'm very pleased with the end result. Iwouldve prefered that it would just be a straight bolt on modification instead of having to make new tab holes, but regardless the job was easy. Took me a whole 30 minutes from start to finish. Here are a few pics of them installed and lit from start to finish. Enjoy!

The ijdmtoy lenses are not manufactured by an aftermarket company.. They are genuine honda parts from the asian versions.. Hense the different hole pattern..

Curious however. Why didnt you use ijdmtoy's harness to adapt from jdm to usdm? Thats why ijdmtoy sells them and repackages them.. Essentially to stick the wire harness in the box so its plug and play..

Hey bro, I get exactly where you're coming from, but using the supplied harness means I would have an extra piece of wire between the oem connector and the housing. I'm a huge fan of clean work and did not want to have an extra pig tail hanging off of my OEM connector. Also, yes, the iJDM toy housing looks OEM for sure but I just refer to them as the iJDM toy housing because they supplied it. So back to the issue about using the harness that is supplied..... having a pigtail that is exposed to moisture and the elements is a big turn off to me and results in rusty contacts and issues down the line. That's usually why manufacturers use O-rings in between plug connectors and light housings. This was my logic in completing it the way I did. I might be 100% wrong in doing it this way...just thought I'd share my experience. Sorry for the long essay but basically I turned the iJDM Toy/Asian housing into a USDM Housing which made for a clean install.
