Ya best bet is to lay all 4 rims out and see what they look like. Honda has done this in the past. My girlfriend has these exr accord rims on her accord and last year I made the mistake by installing the wrong side ones. Looked like this. Same rims, different car.
BTW
Back is correct
Front is wrong

I run directional winter tires and have to pay attention to direction when I install them. When the stock summer tires are replaced with directional tires I'll have to really pay attention. Like someone posted, just imagine the poor tire shop kid installing directional tires on directional rims for the first time!

But if Will go with manual and non directional tire pattern pic it says to flip tire on front and back as well as one right goes to left..

It's page 523 on our manual...looks fine to me and will not affect the way our tires are since they are non-directional.

This is a strange, strange discussion lol. GTI does not have directional wheels either - it's the same system as us.

As someone said, Honda would be ludicrous to make 2 different wheels one for the left and one for the right.

Saw an Infiniti QX50 today and the rims have same set up as ours. All the same direction design. Right side faces forward and left side faces back.

Just checked with honda Canada at a dealer as I was there for oil change. The service guy said its for better flow in and out of car underneath and cooling the brakes. So one side bring the air in and other side pulls it out.....and better aerodynamics..

Late 80"s / early 90's crx si ,civic ex's . Preludes and integras always have the wheels spcific for left / right sides . Even has a "direction' arrow points ngk to which way they rotate.

Hmmmm? That's a interesting explanation lmao, but then wouldn't that cause the car to drift to one side? Therefore creating drag?

First of all, this is very common. It is a rarity that OEMs create two wheel part numbers, although it does happen.

The number 1 reason is cost!! Cost to make, cost to have in inventory, cost, cost cost

Don't over think it.
