Thinking about going with a similar setup but with 8 inch wheels and +35 offset.. do you get any rubbing?

If going for 8” and +35 offset wrap with 235/35/19, the tyre is less stretch compare with 8.5” with +40 offset. Hence, there is a very high chance of rubbing into the tab just under the side marker.

The offset doesn't affect the stretch at all

That’s right. Offset doesn’t affect the stretch. To avoid rubbing for @nrchaytor’s concern, +40 offset along with his choice 8.5” width will be on the safer setup.

In the market for lowering springs and came across these RSR "down sus" springs. Anyone on the forum using these, if so could you give me some feedback.

D2 Springs. No spacers yet what do you think 20mm all around or 20mm rear 15mm front?

I am about to do this install with Swift springs soon but I am going to remove the knuckle/hub entirely which involves taking the brake calipers off and axle nuts (which I have ordered since they should be freshly notched each time). It seems that a lot of headache can be avoided regarding the axle getting in the way of taking off and putting back on the strut. Once the axle is freed from the knuckle I think you don't have the risk or ripping the boots or disengaging from the transmission. Anyone else install it this way?

Nope, you don’t need to if your careful.
