Pretty simple just want you to pick which intake you would buy.
I usually stick with Takeda but heard great things about PRL.
Which ever one has more picks I will buy!

Thanks so much

Similar story with me. I did it in this order

1-Drop In filter
2-Mishimoto Intake
3-PRL Stage 1 Intake
4-PRL HVI Intake

I had the mishimoto on and I got really really tired of seeing IAT2s +20-30 over ambient temperature. Got the prl inlet and hvi to go with it. Sounds better and iat2s only go 4-10 over.

Plus if I get stuck sitting in traffic or a long light, it cools back down right away instead of taking 5-10 minutes of highway speeds

i have both im going to stay the prl is better only because the prl air box is fully enclosed vs the takada which is open on the side. and the elbow is smoother on the prl

For those that switched from Mishi to PRL, any significant and noticeable difference?

IAT2s are much lower, it recovers from being stuck in traffic much much quicker. Those two points are the most significant objective reasons why I switched over. Also I have the titanium inlet and wanted everything from the intake through the intercooler/charge pipes and downpipe to be PRL.

The mishimoto being made of metal and having unsealed gaps for engine heat to get pulled in is a pretty dumb design. Once you got caught sitting still it heat soaked baaaaddd and would take too long to come back down to it's +20-30 over ambient operating temperature.

Subjective reasons it sounds better, though undeniably louder, the "choooo" note sounds deeper/richer. It especially sounds better with partial throttle. Looks better in the engine bay too. The mishi looked pretty good with it's oem look, but I like the bigger opening on the PRL where you can see the filter.

That's what we like to see!! I'm sure PRL would like that pic as well. $$$ shot of the best intake system out for the FK8R
the Woosh is so loud!
Exactly the mod I was looking for.

any thoughts on downpipes/ front pipes?

cars gotta breath well

They have them both. I did my dp and catback at the same time so sound wise I don't know what kinda difference the downpipe made, louder I'm sure. What I did immediately notice was an increase in spool
