The other connector just plugs in normal to the original side marker connection, it's the amber light.

Ok soo.. you spliced into your DRL for the white but as soon as you turn on your low beams, the white led turns off and the amber comes on?

Yes exactly, u got it right

The circuitry inside trumps amber over the white, so if the headlights are on amber will activate

Can someone link me to these? Also, any leaking issues as some other third party side markers have been reported to have..?

Awesome. Thanks, man. Can you throw up a shot of these at night? Wanna see what it's like in the dark.
NP. Yeah, let me see if I can get that for ya tonight.

Bad news is it poured last night so I couldn't get a shot of them in the dark. Good news is happy to report no leaking because of the soaking rain.

Good news. Alright, ended up ordering them anyway. They look dope.
Easy to install, but the wires are SUPER thin, so just be careful not to twist and turn them too much. I ended up breaking one off the LED and had to re-solder it. It was my fault, but still, be careful.

I have these too and they look awesome. I didn't want the DRL on the side so I just cut off the red wire. They do not leak at all, since it's the monsoon season here in Florida and there is no moisture inside. I second the being careful when you install. One of the wires popped off mine and I had to resolder is as well. It was a giant PITA because the silicone goop got all over everything and the solder wouldn't stick.
