I had the Ultra Racing bar installed and now I'm using the DC Sports bar. Both are excellent and to my knowledge the only one piece bars available for our car.

You'll definitely want a stiffer Rear Motor Mount. The least harsh, but still effective, is the HardRace. You'll lose the sense of smoothness, but not gain any vibration. Anything stiffer will make your car feel more "serious" than a daily driver.

Have you seen this post?

Here's mine. This is the only bar I'd buy for the simple fact that it's a one piece bar. The ultra racing bar, painted red.

I have the Hasport 62A mount installed. I've had it in there for nearly a year now. Kinda over it.

Hasport 62A. Almost no vibration, only at take off and around 900-1200 rpms. Hardly noticeable

You're one of the few who has had both one-piece bars--did you notice any difference?

What made you switch?

My guess for the switch would be the Ultra Bar covering the brake fluid resevoir.
The Ultra bar was designed on a RHD car, but it doesn't cover up the brake fluid resevoir on their cars.

I'm a little irked by it on mine, to the point where I take it off every time I bring it in for an oil change.
I don't want them charging me 0.5 hours of labour to check my brake fluid, then telling me I need an alignment because the camber might be slightly off due to me removing the locator pin from the strut assembly.

I can take the cap off my reservoir. It's not as easy as not having the bar on but it's not exactly difficult.

I made the switch for two reasons. One, the DC bar allows easy access to the brake fluid reservoir. And two, the gunmetal finish on the bar looks so much better with my dark blue car than the UR's white powder coat.

Performance-wise they are equals.

Imo all the front bars are going to perform more or less the same. I went tanabe for it's 2 piece, great fitment, stiff, and easy remove. Love it. For the rear only ultra available it seamed. Makes a difference canyon carving for sure.
