I've never used race gas. It slips when you make 260-290wtq in the mid range, depending on the clutch. Seems to hold 250-260 just fine but mine wasn't even broken in the first time I had it on the dyno (180 miles on the car the first session). I've also been powershifting a lot to see how it holds up, lol. So far so good.

You can reach the 260-280wtq area on 93 octane fyi -- especially with the RACE dp PRL is selling (got 260 on 87).
Can you achieve the 220-230 Torque on the CVT with 87 or is it best to go-ahead and do 93 octane?? Can you run 93 on a 87 custom tune from you @VitViper ???I read somewhere you stated the Ktuner car (CVT) had some excellent results, was that with 87 octane??

Are you doing an 87 tune? How do you like it with the Ktuner?
Still waiting on my KTuner V2 to ship from Vit. I was on flash pro before with a 93 octane from Vit. This time I will also do an 87 as well just in case I travel to an area that doesn't have 93.

Cool!!! I'm thinking about doing an 87 tune also, can't find the results anywhere if the Ktuner test car was achieved on 87 octane. Anyone with info please share. Would love to know.....

Their website says that 87 can be used, so their base maps are setup for 87 octane. They state that 91 octane would provide better results (obviously), so any data they publish regarding performance #'s are probably with 91.
