Stock 2017 Civic Sport hatch wheel size

Is the stock wheel really 18x7? Or is it x8?
Reason ...looking at snows and trying to properly size.... and also
The stock 235/40-18s look like they are mounted on a wider wheel than their width... so I question the 7" width.

Got any tips for the 215-55-16s on my hatch as far as similar upsizing "requirements"? (not that I'm 1 iota dissatisfied as they are super comfy but would going 215-60-16s or 225-55 be similarly advantageous?)

Just search for a tire size calculator and start comparing sizes with the same overall diameter

I am trying to get a a set of snow tires & wheels for my hatch. I have spare set of wheels (size: 18x7, 46mm offset) and I am planning to buy a slightly used snow tires 215/45/18. any comments\suggestions?
