So this past weekend we had a little snow storm nothing too bad, forward to Tuesday January 22nd, I had 2 big bricks of ice fly through my back windshield, the cause of this was the narrow driveway that I park my car, mind you I’m between my apartment and the neighbors, we’ll get to the neighbors in a second, I pulled my car further down the driveway near the sidewalks to park it to keep it safe of flying ice bricks of course, guess I wasn’t safe enough and the whole backwindshield shattered completely out, today the back windshield was going to get replaced and all was smooth until he was ready to put the back windshield on he noticed 1 of the clips he really needed had broke off so he’s coming back here tomorrow to fix it, so at this point I thought I learned my lesson and move the car up more into the driveway, LITERALLY about an hour ago another decent size ice Brick hits my quarter panel on the drivers side, at this point I might as well park my car on the street and have it get hit by a drunken driver or by somebody else who can drive.
Here are the pictures

wow 1k deductible? that really sucks mine is only $100 for comprehensive.

you should definitely make the landlord pay for it

Not sure how the insurance works where you are, but I would think his homeowners should cover it, not you. Def check into it.

depends.. "act of god".. and yeah, landlords are known to be kind and responsive when being asked for money. Ugh. Sorry.

Not sure if that rear panel could be "pulled out" or if you would have to replace the entire quarter panel.

Ouch man. I constantly worry about my cars. We have trees all over and it's only a matter of time before one damages my rides. In one storm, we had 7 trees fall once. Luckily, I got out of it pretty clean, with only wire from the power pole laid across my CRX deck lid. Somehow, it didn't do any damages. Sorry for your loss.
