you guys went with Stage Three? Not Three Plus?
Anyone go for Stage 4? Curious why it's less expensive...maybe it's a shorter lifespan???

Went for 3, not 3+. I don't see myself hitting those torque numbers anytime soon. So I opted to save like $300.

I read the “+” makes it more streetable as well. Also the 3+ is the longest lasting one

Yeah, I just went based on max torque specs when deciding. I will agree the Stage 3 takes a toll on your leg in traffic and may not be as streetable as people like. But I'm used to that from my previous daily.

Nice ! My 2+ at first was quite stiff and grabby, now 2000 miles later the pedal is only slightly stiffer than stock and engagement has improved a ton

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for right now. The best way I can describe it is;

It's as stiff and grabby as a priest alone with an altar boy.

I have the 3+ with the steel fly wheel and after the breakin period the pedal is almost as soft as stock. It does grab a tad bit aggressive in 1st compared to stock but its expected.

What flywheel is spec using? I can't find it anywhere. Not even on their website.

Hi Brian,

To answer your question here (and from your email this morning), SPEC makes the flywheels. We are indeed the only seller of this product, as we partnered with SPEC during the initial R&D. It is not listed on their website, and the clutches you see listed on their site for the 1.5T are not the same clutches they use with the "Proprietary Design" flywheel.

If you have any questions regarding the products I'd be happy to answer them.

We are preparing to install a built engine into our Si and are actually going to try out the 2+ this time. I am confident it will hold the power and it should be even smoother on the street than the 3+.

So far I am planning to go with 2+.

I have an aftermarket DP, CAI, and plan to run TSP Stage 2 Flex fuel.
Should 2+ be fine for this?

I plan to get the Drop in W1 turbo in 2020.
Can 2+ handle the W1 or do I need to go ahead and go with 3+?
I would like to get the 2+ for the street friendly reasons but will get the 3+ if I absolutely need to.
I am about a month away from making this purchase.

Hi Josh,

2+ will be fine. We are about to install a 2+ with our built engine and GTX2860 Gen II turbo.
