Does anyone have any idea what these yellow spots are? They're bright yellow and almost kind of powdery. I park my car outside of work in Culver City and I swear I get 10-20 of these things on the car a day, it is getting really annoying.

FYI, this is where I parked today (next to this palm tree). I don't see anything that could be falling off the tree, and am wondering why the ground is not covered in yellow if the droppings are so frequent. Don't see any birds or bees around.

It looks like pollen to me. When you wipe it off, is it powdery? I used to get that all the time at my previous address

Yes, it is powdery and seems like pollen. I wonder where it is falling from?

I get those all the time. It may be from the palm trees, but I'm not sure. I never see these spots on the ground, just on my car. lol

Yeah, welcome to Socal. That shows up on my car a few hours after I wash it
I've lived here for a decade and never noticed the dots on my old car. I also never see the spots covering anything else. Does it fall from trees? Blow in the breeze from flowers and plants?

Haha yeah, I get these same spots! Glad to know it's just pollen and not bird poo

That's bee poop. It's kinda sticky.
Tastes a bit like honey.
