Did my tail lights with VHT nite shades. Started with of wet sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper and then did 3-4 coats on the lights. Removed the actual lights for painting but had to do the 3rd brake light and side wing bits on the car. Previously used the smoke vinyl overlays from Premium Auto Styling so I left those over the reverse/turn signals for contrast.
After the paint dried, I wet sanded again and then buffed with meguiars ultimate compound followed by meguiars quick wax.
Overall came out 7/10 I'd say. There's a bit of unevenness where the spray can sputtered that I couldn't quite remove by cutting and buffing. Still plenty bright but totally changes the look of the rear end for the better IMO.
