Honda Civic 10th gen Simple mods I can do for my 2018 Civic Si for speed/performance? 85449AE0-B914-4513-86A0-E343C77E3DCA
So I have 2018 Civic Si and I’ve never really been an expert on the performance stuff. But I want to add something simple to my car that will give it some guaranteed power but nothing too crazy. I also don’t want to spend too much money. I know In order to get the best performance I have to go a bit pricey but I’m not too familiar with mods which is why I need some ideas. What things have you done to your car? Thanks in advance!

Easiest way for more power would be to buy a used KTuner or Hondata device to flash your ECU.
Upgraded brake pads for more bite and less fade.
Summer performance tires with TW of 300 or less will make your car stick like shit to a blanket with no suspension modifications.

Ktuner with TSP Stage 1 tune is the best bang for your buck mod, by far.
Roughly how much horsepower would I get depending on the tune?

Lighter wheels and / or better tires. A little more pricey than a tune, and doesn't necessarily add power but...

Won't void warranty ( if that's a concern ). Will improve handling and acceleration

Does the tune only work for stock Si? All I’ve changed in the engine is the cold air intake.

I would think the intake would benefit the tune's impact. I have an SRI and my trims are better on map 3 than 1 (which is basically stock)

If we offer too much information, you would yet have 100s of questions.
Search the forum and take a read at what people are doing. Spend some time doing that to get more familiar.
That's the BEST mod you could do for yourself.

Is it a bad idea if I leave the stock clutch?
Buy the Ktuner from TSP and you will get the Stage 1 tune for free. I used the TSP Stage 2 tune for over a year with a stock clutch. That gave me almost 100 horses extra. I was always aware that I couldn't abuse my clutch, even though I did drive it aggressively. I finally upgraded my clutch to a Type R clutch and abuse it daily.

It really depends on how you drive if your clutch will hold up or not. I can say my fk7 clutch is just fine after 22k tuned miles.
Not true, I observed improper assembly via lack of lubricant and willingness of the clutch to move on the input shaft when I replaced mine. This will lead to abnormal wear and contribute to the possibility of your clutch slipping with a tune.
