Roughly how much horsepower would I get depending on the tune?Ktuner with TSP Stage 1 tune is the best bang for your buck mod, by far.
They say 55 whp and 76 ft lbs of torque.Roughly how much horsepower would I get depending on the tune?
This. But you're gonna need a better clutch if you REALLY wanna enjoy it.Ktuner with TSP Stage 1 tune is the best bang for your buck mod, by far.
I would think the intake would benefit the tune's impact. I have an SRI and my trims are better on map 3 than 1 (which is basically stock)Does the tune only work for stock Si? All I’ve changed in the engine is the cold air intake.
Buy the Ktuner from TSP and you will get the Stage 1 tune for free. I used the TSP Stage 2 tune for over a year with a stock clutch. That gave me almost 100 horses extra. I was always aware that I couldn't abuse my clutch, even though I did drive it aggressively. I finally upgraded my clutch to a Type R clutch and abuse it daily. Is it a bad idea if I leave the stock clutch?
It really depends on how you drive if your clutch will hold up or not. I can say my fk7 clutch is just fine after 22k tuned miles. Is it a bad idea if I leave the stock clutch?
Not true, I observed improper assembly via lack of lubricant and willingness of the clutch to move on the input shaft when I replaced mine. This will lead to abnormal wear and contribute to the possibility of your clutch slipping with a tune.It really depends on how you drive if your clutch will hold up or not.
