So i ordered a "stock style" siebon carbon hood and it arrived damaged. I've been emailing MAP and siebon and they are going to ship me a new one but....
I must cut the damaged one in half. And send them pics to show that it has been destroyed.

Any ideas as to what i should use to cut it? I was thinking a sawzall but not sure what blade i would need.
Also i know i will need to cover exposed skin and respirator and eye protection will be used.

seems like BS that they are making you destroy something that got damaged on the way to you, i would tell them to give you ideas on how to do so. or do some nice photo editing to the pics you send them so it looks like its cut in half.

I had this happen when I had my CR-Z and got a damaged hood from Seibon / Some Reseller, I used a hammer to bust the hood carbon fiber side apart.. Once I had enough holes in the thing I stepped on it and basically tore it apart. All the are looking for is for it to be broken into several parts so you cannot resell it. i know its silly but its something they want. I think they also required me to send them a pic with the destroyed hood and the seibon logo plate from the underside of the hood.

    Replacement hood has arrived undamaged!
I'm going to wait till spring to install. Save at least one season of salt on it. I will be having it wrapped with a uv protective clear.
