You think these Tein HTECH springs would be a good middle-ground drop between the Si and Pro-Kit like you mentioned? I’m thinking of getting these. It says it’s for the Sedan trim. But, since the Si springs fit well with the Hatchback, I’m thinking it should work here as well?

Looks like a nice option for lowering. The rates look identical to stock sedan, so I'd assume any improvement in handling will come from the lowered center of gravity.
Wouldn't go softer in the front than the Si springs though.
Love how the front doesn't need any time to settle anymore between braking and turning, with almost no penalty in ride.

The LX weighs 2750lbs and the Touring weighs 2925lbs for the sedan model...about 200lbs difference
Hmmmm will this weight difference change the way the HTECH springs behave then? I wonder why they make it specific for the 2.0 and not across all sedans.

Here is my LX, Si springs installed at the alignment shop.
Tried to take the photo at the wheel gap level, no cheating. Drop might be negligible for the Sport but is very noticeable on the LX.

To sum it up it became fun to drive in a sporty manner. Not so much in a playful way like the Mazda3 but very stable cornering , the chassis not getting upset in corners anymore.
The way the rear feels in corners is even nicer now, absolutely amazing.
I installed the summer tires on 18" wheels with a +40 offset, so part of the improvement is from these. The light rims with a slightly smaller diameter give just a little more bite when accelerating.
Also, the change in ride seems to be more from the lower sidewall than from the springs, it just feels more rough on bad pavement.
If the front springs were another 10% stiffer would have been just about perfect, as the side to side rocking is reduced but not eliminated.
I might add a tower bar in the future for the front and a Si sway in the back.

This is the best I can do. Stock wheels are before the SI springs. I swapped over to my summer wheels/tires when I did the springs so its 20180308_174817.jpg 20180410_161248.jpg 20180410_160535.jpg 20180410_160546.jpg not a very good example. Wheel/tire specs are 17×8 45 offset, 245/45/17 super sports
Shadow, what wheels are those? I was looking at touring sedan 17's but I think I like yours better.

Just an update. Have been riding on these since last spring and if I had to do it again I'd go for something stiffer, maybe at least 180lb/in. for the fronts.
Front is still too soft for spirited driving. Rear is perfectly fine.
Just for reference, the Honda HFP springs on my other car are 215lb/in., a bit stiff for rough roads and wanted something a little softer.

Wanted to save money, then I realized it needs a front tower bar and in the end it probably costed more than a decent pair of springs...

@Shadowfighter Did you have to get an alignment when you put on the Si springs? I was hoping to install them on Sport Hatch and not need to align.

Are the Si springs directly compatible with the Hatchback LX? No modification required to the car or springs?

Sure they are, I have them on my Hatch but as I wrote in the other thread the drop isn't as big as for the Sport, apparently, especially in the front.
Trying to find out now:
1. Are the shocks from coupe or Sport shorter?
2.Do they fit the hatch?

It'd be nice if the coupe ones will work because it's still too soft in the front for my liking and those are a bit stiffer.
